This made-for-TV ABC documentary was filmed on the Clyde Beatty Cole Bros. Circus at Philadelphia, PA. in 1971. The movie followed author/actor George Plimpton as he trained to perform with the "Flying Apollos" trapeze act. The film gives a behind the scenes look at life on the circus and features many of the Clyde Beatty Cole Bros. staff, performers and personnel as they go about their daily activities. |
