Randolph Calhoun was a prominent Sarasota, Florida attorney, businessman and philanthropist.
Randolph Calhoun was born September 17, 1901 in Marianna, Florida. After completing high school in Marianna he studied at Stetson University in Deland, FL., where he obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree and then George Washington University in DC where he received his Master of Laws degree.
Calhoun along with Jerry Collins, Frank McClosky and Walter Kernan were co-owners of the Clyde Beatty Circus, (later renamed Clyde Beatty Cole Bros Circus.).
Randolph Calhoun died at age 59, in Sarasota on April 30, 1961. |
